Welcome to Vintage Technics 2009

"Why isn't my particular model listed in your database?"

Panasonic has produced literally thousands of pieces of equipment with the Technics badge.  This website only reflects items sold in North America, and with very few exceptions, only those items which showed up in AUDIO magazine's annual equipment directories.

"Do you have any of this equipment for sale?"

No.

"Do you know how to make such-and-such work, thread a reel-to-reel tape deck, fix my broken whatever?"

No.

"Do you have replacement parts, instructions, brochures, or service manuals?"

No.

"Where can I find that stuff?

"I have a piece of Technics equipment that I want to sell.  Do you know what it's worth?"

It's worth whatever someone's willing to pay for it.  The prices listed in the tables are the highest MSRP for the last year the item was sold.

"Can I substitute this part for that part and not blow up my equipment?"

I don't know.  You need to ask someone who knows electronics.

"Do you have any favorite pieces of equipment that you'd recommend to someone else?"

"I am an eBay whore.  Can I use pictures from this website to sell my equipment?"

While I can't stop you if you're that determined to do it, I have to ask why would you want to?  The pictures on this website are not pictures of the actual equipment you're selling, so in addition to it being downright lazy, it's also deceptive.
